Q1 2022 Philadelphia Dynamics 365 & Power Platform User Group Meeting Recap

Posted by Heidi Neuhauser

The Q1 2022 Philadelphia Dynamics 365 & Power Platform User Group meeting happened this morning, and it was fantastic fun (as it always is)! Once again, we met virtually – but this allowed attendees from all over the world and speakers who aren’t local to our area. It was wonderful to see everyone again and meet as a community.

Join our user group community here! It’s free, and we’re a fun group. We’d love to see you at a meeting!

If you missed the meeting, catch the full recap from our two sessions below. Thank you to Kylie and Mike for wonderful presentations today!

Kylie Kiser: Intro to AI & Forms Processing Demo

Kylie gave us a wonderful intro to AI, teaching us about AI Builder and cognitive services capabilities in Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. She has posted her slides and helpful URLs at her blog here.

Then she launched into a live demo where she built a Power App using Dynamics 365 and the AI Builder for a form processing model. She made the whole thing in 10 minutes – impressive!

Mike Ochs – ALM Starter Kit in the CoE

Next, we went deep into the Power Platform as Mike Ochs taught us all about ALM and the CoE. It was a great presentation that spurred a lot of conversation with our developer community members! Lots of great content – what is ALM and “a day in the life of a Power Platform Maker Team” were the highlights for me.

Next Meeting: Friday, April 15.

We’ll plan on it virtually, and rejoice if we can change that. If you have topic suggestions, please email me at heidi@reenhanced.com.
