First of all, you may have noticed that I’ve moved my series from a 30 to 10 minute Mondays. I hope you enjoy the shorter version of this series, it’s been really fun to do so far!
Today, I interviewed Nick Hance, owner of Reenhanced. (Full disclosure: Nick is my business partner and husband. He is also brilliant.)
Nick has built two connectors for Power Automate. One, Gravity Forms by Reenhanced, has been live and available for Flow use for more than a month now. His second connector, Power Form 7, has passed Microsoft Certification and will be live sometime this week or next.
Here is some good documentation from Microsoft on how to get started with creating a custom connector from scratch.
In this interview, I ask Nick about what he’s learned when he built his custom connector, the difference between building Triggers and Actions, and tips he has for those of you who may be interested in building a custom connector.
Take a look and let me know what you think in the comments below. If you have an interesting story, please email me and I’d love to have you on 10-minute Mondays sometime soon!
What’s Next with 10 Minute Mondays?
Next week, we’ll keep looking at Power Automate. We will take a look at the Marketing Automation connectors currently available to use on your Flows. We’ll point out who the players are, what high-level functionality each has and rate them. Hopefully it will help you make decisions about marketing automation vendors going forward.
At 11am EST on Monday, October 26, tune in to the Microsoft Teams meeting listed below.
